The colours you choose for your home reflect your personality and style. Every year, colour experts from the world's leading paint brands select their “Colours of the Year” and publish a “Colour Forecast”. It is time to look at the colour trends for 2023!

This year's colour trends have richer tones than last year's, but we still see inspiration from nature. While some people prefer timeless and classic paint colours, others prefer to go bolder by incorporating vibrant colours into their homes. Dulux colour experts spent much time translating global insights into a Colour of the Year that matches the moment's mood. Dulux's Colour of the Year for 2023 is “Wild Wonder”, a positive, glowing tone reminiscent of beautiful barley fields. This colour is described as "a glowing and uplifting tone" because it connects us to nature as well as brings a sense of natural magic into our homes.

With the Lush Palette, their  soothing forest tones can create a sense of rootedness and support. The Buzz Palette's vibrant colours celebrate the biodiversity of a wildflower field. The Raw Palette is warm and enlightening, reminding us of the abundance of natural materials all around us. Sherwin-Williams has chosen “Redend Point” as their Colour for 2023, an earthy blush-beige that is a subtle take on those seasonal browns and reds with an essential warmth to life.

PPG have created three complimenting color palettes for Vining Ivy and Glidden has created one complimenting color palette for this teal hue. “Serenity” is a graceful palette of milky pastels and light warm neutral tones that can be used to create a playful or tranquil home design. “Origin” is an earthy, well-balanced colour palette for a comfortable home. “Duality” is a colour palette that features contrasting colour tones that can help you break traditional design rules and create a home style that is unique to you. Glidden’s color palette is very similar to the Origin palette with warm earthy and natural colors.
